At Chicago Foundation Uganda, we believe that every young person deserves a chance to thrive and achieve their full potential, regardless of their educational background. We understand that some students may drop out of school due to various reasons such as financial constraints, family responsibilities, or lack of interest in academic studies. That's why we are here to offer them a second chance by providing them with vocational skills training. Our organization offers a wide range of vocational skills that equip our beneficiaries with practical skills to start their own businesses or secure employment opportunities in various sectors.

These vocational skills include:Tailoring and Fashion Design: Our students learn how to sew, design and make clothing items such as dresses, shirts, and skirts.

Carpentry and Joinery: Our carpentry and joinery program teaches students how to construct wooden structures such as tables, chairs, and cabinets.

Hairdressing and Beauty Therapy: Our beauty therapy program provides students with skills in hairdressing, manicure and pedicure, makeup application, and other beauty treatments.

Welding and Metal Fabrication: Our welding and metal fabrication program trains students on how to work with metal, create welding joints, and fabricate metal structures.

Electrical Installation and Repair: Our electrical installation and repair program teaches students how to install, maintain, and repair electrical systems.

Plumbing and Pipefitting: Our plumbing and pipefitting program equips students with skills in water and drainage system installation, maintenance, and repair.

At Chicago Foundation Uganda, we believe that these vocational skills will not only improve the lives of our beneficiaries but also contribute to the development of their communities. With our training programs, we aim to reduce unemployment rates, poverty, and crime rates among the youth in Uganda.
